1. Promoter and Prize Supplier
The promoter and prize supplier is Pavilion Properties, Brighton, UK (“Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
- Entrants must be 18+ and currently enrolled at a University and based (living) in the city of Brighton and Hove (UK).
- The Competition is free to enter; no purchase necessary.
- Not open to Pavilion Properties employees, agents, or their immediate family.
- Invalid entries include: automatically generated, bulk, forged, incomplete, or submitted on behalf of others.
- The Promoter may require proof of eligibility (e.g. student ID/university email). Failure to provide proof within 7 days may result in disqualification.
3. Content Rules for Reels
- Entries must be original content created by the entrant.
- Entries must not contain or promote: nudity/sexually explicit content; offensive or discriminatory behaviour; illegal activity, violence or unsafe behaviour; drug use or alcohol misuse; political or religious content; third-party advertising; or any copyright-infringing material.
- Only approved entries will count (Instagram collaboration approval required).
- Entrants must have consent from anyone featured; under-18s require parental/guardian consent.
4. Entry Mechanics
- Entry Period: 22 Sept 2025 to 3 Oct 2025 (23:59 GMT).
- Post on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok; tag @pavilionbrighton - Instagram and Tik Tok / @pavilionlettings - Facebook and use #PavilionBrightonComp.
- Instagram entrants can request a collaboration with Pavilion Properties.
- Single unique entries only; duplicate/similar entries may be disqualified.
5. The Prize
- Total prize fund: £900 cash.
- 1 Winner – £600 cash; 3 Runner-Ups – £100 cash each.
- Prizes paid by bank transfer within 30 days of confirming eligibility; non-transferable and non-negotiable.
- The Promoter may replace any prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.
6. Deciding and Announcing the Winner(s)
- Judged on creativity, originality and how well entries reflect Brighton student life.
- Shortlist by Pavilion marketing team; final winners selected by the Director (with optional University rep input).
- Winners announced on Pavilion social channels by 20 Oct 2025 and contacted directly via the platform used.
- If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim within 7 days, the prize may be offered to another entrant.
- By entering, you agree Pavilion may record/photograph/film prize handovers for promotional use.
7. Data Protection
Personal information is processed only to administer the Competition and retained only as necessary. By entering, you agree Pavilion may use your name, image and entry content for Competition publicity. Pavilion may be required to provide winner details to relevant authorities if requested.
8. Ownership of Entries and Intellectual Property
Entrants retain ownership but grant Pavilion a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use their content for marketing and promotional purposes. Entrants warrant originality and lawful use, and confirm required consents are obtained.
9. Promoter’s Rights
Pavilion may suspend, amend or withdraw the Competition at its discretion and may disqualify entrants who breach these Terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
Pavilion is not responsible for technical issues or lost/incomplete entries and is not liable for loss, injury or damage arising from the Competition or prizes except where caused by negligence. Entrants release Pavilion from liability connected to the Competition.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
